The North Platte Bulldogs softball team (North Platte, NE), was nipped 14-13 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Lincoln North Star Navigators (Lincoln, NE)

The Navigators (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Panthers go into the A District bout with a 5-5 record.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 2. North Platte will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
