The Novinger Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Madison Panthers softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Marion County Mustangs (Philadelphia, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Novinger will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Clopton (Clarksville, MO).
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wellsville-Middletown (Wellsville, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
