In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Schulenburg Shorthorns volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers.

The Shorthorns (17-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Round Top-Carmine (Carmine, TX). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Round Top-Carmine gained a win over Giddings (Giddings, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Academy for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Aggieland HomeSchool will face a Flames squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ). The Flames record now stands at 12-3.
