Auburndale Eagles (Auburndale, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Fall River Pirates (Fall River, WI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Dominican beat Oakfield (Oakfield, WI), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Fall River drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI) to play the Hatchets in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. The Hatchets come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Tomahawk won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Cambridge (Cambridge, WI)
