In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Navasota Rattlers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats.

The Rattlers (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart was defeated by Weimar (Weimar, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats/Lady Cats now own a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rice Consolidated for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Bloomington will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Burton (Burton, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-7.
