Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sage Hill improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Lightning host Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-7.

Next, the Cougars face the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Capistrano Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record.
