North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Carter-Riverside Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Stallions now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Irving for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. North Mesquite will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-8.

The Eagles (8-12) will now prepare for their game against Haltom (Haltom City, TX). The Buffalos go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Haltom went down by Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
