Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley tips Champaign Central

August 29, 2025: Aurora, IL 60502

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Metea Valley Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Champaign Central Maroons.

Next up, the Mustangs face the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 29. Metea Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Foxes go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).

The Maroons (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Batavia nudged West Aurora (Aurora, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
