In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Santa Fe Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Damien Monarchs.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Ironwood Ridge beat Hawaii Prep (Kamuela, HI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Monarchs face the University Laboratory School Junior Rainbows (Honolulu, HI) in a Interscholastic League test, on Tuesday, September 2. Damien will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Junior Rainbows go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Maryknoll (Honolulu, HI).
