The Del Oro Golden Eagles topped the visiting Escalon Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Golden Eagles face the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 3. Del Oro will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Miners go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV).

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Gauchos come into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, El Capitan beat Central Catholic (Modesto, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
