Alaska High School Volleyball - Delta can't hold off Mountain City Christian Academy

The Mountain City Christian Academy Lions tipped the host Delta Huskies volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lions confront the Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 29. Mountain City Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Whalers come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK).

With the loss, Delta drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Hutchison (Fairbanks, AK) to confront the Hawks in a 3A Aurora match on Tuesday, September 9. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 1-7.
