Texas High School Volleyball - Edgewood can't get by Lone Oak

The Lone Oak Buffaloes nudged the visiting Edgewood Bulldogs volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Buffaloes now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Scurry-Rosser for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Lone Oak will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Neches (Neches, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-5.

The Bulldogs (6-15) will now prepare for their match against Mildred (Corsicana, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 13-6 record. In their last match, Mildred held off Oakwood (Oakwood, TX), 2-0, in a non-league match.
