The Emery Spartans topped the host Vanguard Academy Knights volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rockwell for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Emery will play a Marshals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT). The Marshals record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Vanguard Academy drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Rockwell (Eagle Mountain, UT) to play the Marshals in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Marshals come into the outing with a record of 0-5. Rockwell lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT)
