Texas High School Volleyball - Frisco over Melissa

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX), observed Frisco's volleyball team top Melissa by a count of 3-1.

The Raccoons (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Zebras go into the non-league battle with a 16-5 record. In their last battle, Grandview dropped by Heritage (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now own a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grapevine for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. Melissa will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-10.
