In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Mannahouse Christian Academy volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Gervais Cougars.
The (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Christian (Salem, OR). The Pioneers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Western Christian achieved victory over Toledo (Toledo, OR), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2.
