South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Redhawks (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Independence, OR). The Panthers enter the 5A Mid-Willamette challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Cavemen meet the Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Grants Pass will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
