Texas High School Volleyball - Prestonwood Christian can't hold off Lake Travis

In Friday's non-league match, the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) volleyball team held off the visiting Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

The Cavaliers now possess a 22-5 record. They play next when they host Coronado for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Lake Travis will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Prestonwood Christian falls to 12-3 on the year. The Lions travel to The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. The Highlanders go into the battle with a record of 6-7. The Woodlands won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Brandeis (San Antonio, TX)
