The McAllen Bulldogs volleyball squad (McAllen, TX), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX)

With the win, Liberty Hill improves its record to 20-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 20-6. Flour Bluff won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Tournament Opponent (, )

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 contest, on Tuesday, September 2. McAllen will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 8-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX).
