Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) and the host Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors (Jacksonville, FL), observed Merritt Island's volleyball team top Trinity Christian Academy by a count of 2-0.

The Mustangs (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gainesville (Gainesville, FL). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Gainesville was knocked off by Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Conquerors now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christ's Church Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Trinity Christian Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Covenant School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
