Nevada High School Volleyball - Silverado tips Moapa Valley

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Silverado Skyhawks volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Moapa Valley Pirates.

The Skyhawks now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Farrington for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Silverado will play a Governors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Henderson, NV). The Governors record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Moapa Valley drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Mountain Lions in a non-league game on Friday, August 29. The Mountain Lions enter the game with a record of 6-5. Sierra Vista lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV)
