Arizona High School Volleyball - St. David tips Mogollon

August 29, 2025: Heber, AZ 85928

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) and the host Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ), observed St. David's volleyball team hold off Mogollon by a tally of 3-2.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Tombstone got by The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Grand Canyon Phantoms (Grand Canyon, AZ) in a 1A - Central test, on Saturday, August 30. Mogollon will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Phantoms go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Music Mountain (Peach Springs, AZ).
