In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Stroudsburg Mountaineers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Palmerton Blue Bombers.

The Mountaineers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Cavaliers come into the EPC18 - North challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, East Stroudsburg South was beaten by Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Bombers face the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) in a Colonial test, on Tuesday, September 2. Palmerton will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA).
