The Ro-Hawks (18-7) will now prepare for their contest against La Vernia (La Vernia, TX). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, La Vernia beat Davenport (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Wagner will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 15-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX).
