The Sweetwater Red Devils volleyball squad (National City, CA), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA)

With the win, University City improves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Centurions travel to Kearny (San Diego, CA) to meet the Komets in a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. The Komets enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Kearny lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA)

Next, the Red Devils meet the Ramona Bulldogs (Ramona, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Sweetwater will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Santana (Santee, CA).
