The West Harrison Hurricanes volleyball squad (Gulfport, MS), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS)

With the win, Pearl improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Pirates host Riverside (Avon, MS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 6. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Riverside lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS)

The Hurricanes now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Biloxi for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 8. West Harrison will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Indians record now stands at 0-1.
