The Pirates now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Brunswick for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13.

With the loss, Dixon drops to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Pender (Burgaw, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 7. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-1. Pender lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC)
