The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ). The Roadrunners come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, San Tan Charter lost by Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 1. Bourgade Catholic will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Minotaur come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Florence (Florence, AZ).
