The Lincoln-Way Central Knights smashed the visiting Argo Argonauts soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Knights now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Lincoln-Way East for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Lincoln-Way Central will play a Griffins squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over ACERO Garcia (Chicago, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 2-2.
The Argonauts (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Berwyn/Cicero Morton nipped Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), 3-2, in a non-league game.
