In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Bloomfield Bobcats soccer squad scored a close 5-2 triumph over the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers.
The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgway (Ridgway, CO). The Demons come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Ridgway nudged Caprock Academy (Grand Junction, CO), 10-0, in a league battle.
