Conifer Lobos (Conifer, CO) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Englewood Pirates (Englewood, CO), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lobos confront the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Conifer will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Mountain View (Loveland, CO).
The Pirates now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arvada for a 3A/2A Frontier challenge on Wednesday, August 31. Englewood will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Jefferson (Edgewater, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
