With the win, Topsail advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 6. The Hurricanes go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Cape Fear Academy won 4-1 in their recent non-league outing against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 7. Dixon will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Stallions go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 3-3 non-league Richlands (Richlands, NC).
