Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Generals confront the Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY).
The Commodores now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scott County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1.
