The Tupelo Tigers softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Caney Cougars to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Tupelo improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Maysville (Maysville, OK) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 2-0.
