In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Awaken Christian Lions (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball squad were winner over the host Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the The Meadows School Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) in a 2A South contest, on Friday, September 16. Awaken Christian will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Francis Parker (San Diego, CA).

With the loss, Amplus Academy moves to 0-4 on the year. The Archers travel to Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV) to battle the Trojans in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 1. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 1-5. Pahrump Valley won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)
