The Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) volleyball nudged the visiting Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Austintown-Fitch betters its record to 4-1 on the year. The Falcons host Howland (Warren, OH) to face the Tigers in a All-American outing on Thursday, September 1. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Howland won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Hubbard (Hubbard, OH)

The Mustangs now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host North Royalton for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. Strongsville will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.
