The Sutton Mustangs held off the host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCool Junction for a non-league test on Thursday, September 1. Sutton will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Hampton (Hampton, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Exeter-Milligan (Exeter, NE). The Timberwolves enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Exeter-Milligan was nudged by Sutton (Sutton, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.
