Nebraska High School Volleyball - Elgin/Pope John tips Burwell

Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack (Elgin, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Wolfpack clash with the Stuart Broncos (Stuart, NE) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 1. Elgin/Pope John will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Broncos come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Plainview (Plainview, NE).

With the loss, Burwell drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Longhorns host North Central (Bassett, NE) to clash with the Knights in a C2 District 9 match on Thursday, September 1. The Knights come into the match with a record of 0-1.
