In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Chicago Christian Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Trinity Blazers.
The Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way East nudged Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Blazers encounter the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 1. Trinity will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Roadrunners come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL).
