The Cooper Cougars held off the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Cooper will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-14.

The Bobcats (18-8) will now prepare for their game against Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Plainsmen enter the non-league game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Monterey was nudged by Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
