The Douglas Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Custer Wildcats to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riggs for a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. Douglas will confront a Governors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Governors record now stands at 3-0.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Newell (Newell, SD). The Irrigators enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Newell gained a win over Harding County (Buffalo, SD), 3-0, in a league game.
