Texas High School Volleyball - Independence over DeSoto

The Independence Knights (Frisco, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 18-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) to play the Friars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Friars go into the outing with a record of 19-6. Bishop Lynch won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Adams (Dallas, TX)

The Eagles now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Horn for a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. DeSoto will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-10.
