The Orangefield Bobcats topped the visiting Deweyville Pirates volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bobcats now have a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodville for a non-league test on Friday, September 2. Orangefield will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.

The Pirates (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Vidor (Vidor, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Vidor was knocked off by Nederland (Nederland, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
