The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE) and the visiting Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), saw Hemingford's volleyball squad beat Hyannis by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Hemingford upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, NE) to play the Tigers in a C2 District 12 match on Thursday, September 1. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 0-5. Mitchell lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE)

With the loss, Hyannis drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Minatare (Minatare, NE) to clash with the Indians in a non-league match on Thursday, September 1.
