The Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils (Hettinger, ND) volleyball nudged the host Lemmon Cowboys (Lemmon, SD), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Hettinger/Scranton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Black Devils travel to Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig] (Elgin, ND) to face the Storm in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Storm go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
The Cowboys now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harding County for a B Region 8 outing on Thursday, September 1. Lemmon will face a Ranchers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to New England (New England, ND). The Ranchers record now stands at 0-3.
