Texas High School Volleyball - Hooks Mount Vernon

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Mount Vernon Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Hooks Hornets.

The Tigers (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Leopards come into the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Liberty-Eylau defeated De Kalb (De Kalb, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 2. Hooks will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX).
