The Juniata Valley Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Southern Huntingdon County Rockets to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. Juniata Valley will meet a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.

The Rockets (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA). The Indians enter the Inter-County - South game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Southern Fulton gained a win over Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV), 3-0, in a non-league game.
