    • Michigan High School Football - Almont smashes Algonac

    August 30, 2023: Algonac, MI 48001

    The Almont Raiders (Almont, MI) football routed the host Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), 49-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

    In their next game, the Raiders face the Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Friday, September 8. Almont will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-7 league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MI).

    The Muskrats (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Richmond (Richmond, MI). The Blue Devils enter the Blue Water Area bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Richmond was overwhelmed by Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI), 29-10, in a league bout.
