The Mesa Jackrabbits (Mesa, AZ) football defeated the visiting Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), 48-18 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Jackrabbits face the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a bout, on Tuesday, October 3. Mesa will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Monsoon (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Desert Vista lost by Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ), 48-6, in a non-league bout.
