In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host West Jefferson Roughriders soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Southeastern Local Trojans.
The Roughriders now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Catholic Central for a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. West Jefferson will meet a Irish squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Madison (Middletown, OH). The Irish record now stands at 0-4.
