The Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) football defeated the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), 27-10 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Storm face the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 14. Willow Spring will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC).
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Athens Drive lost by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 28-22, in a non-league bout.
